Karolína Kurková Expecting First Child

The future for Victoria’s Secret is looking bright! Former Angel Karolína Kurková and her fiancé, filmmaker Archie Drury are expecting their first child this fall. “The couple have been together for a little over a year,” a rep for DNA Models confirms. “This is the first child for both.” Karolína, 25, is currently six months along in the pregnancy.
Baby-on-the-way is part of a baby boom for the runway models: Heidi Klum is expecting her fourth child — a girl — in October, Adriana Lima and Gisele Bündchen are both due in December, and Alessandra Ambrósio recently welcomed daughter Anja Louise, 10 months.
Karolína’s new film G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra is due out in theaters August 7th.

Another pregnant VS model!! At this rate, it should be interesting who’ll be walking in the next show. Maybe VS feature a new maternity line @ the next show, LOL. I’m loving all this pregnancy, there are 4 women in my family currently expecting.

I can’t believe she’s only 25! I thought she was much older, it seems like she’s been around forever. This just proves that not all people in their early 20’s are immature kids like some think. She is a perfect example of maturity and class, congrats to her!

Wow! Congratulations to Karolina and Archie. Victoria’s Secret has already started doing nursing bras, they should seriously consider a maternity clothing line now that most of their Angels are pregnant!

Every since Alessandra Ambrósio gave birth Victoria secret model’s have been getting pregnant like crazy! 1st it was Alessandra, then ir was Heidi, then Adriana, then (maybe) Gisele, and now Karolina. Wow! CONGRATS there all gonna have cute babies

What did they do? Did Heidi call all former and current VS models tell them how great motherhood is and then convince them to get pregnant??? lol! j/k! I’m so happy for all the mommies to be! Can’t wait to see their little angels!! I ♥ it!

Savanna- Every woman carries differently. Compare, for example, best friends Naomi Watts (both times!) and Nicole Kidman. Naomi was HUGE with both of her pregnancies, and everyone thought, both times, that she was either having twins or due at least a month before she actually was (not only was Sasha born a month after most people thought Naomi would give birth, but he was a week early to boot!).
Nicole, on the other hand, barely showed at all until literally the last couple of months of her pregnancy, and it took awhile for some people to believe she really was pregnant (and most of those that DID believe the news thought something was wrong because she was carrying so small!
From the looks of things, Giselle is going to be like Nicole, and Adrianna may very well be like Naomi. Also, Adrianna may be due in the very first days of December, while Giselle is reportadly not due until December 14th. That would make Adrianna a few weeks further along than Giselle.
Shirelle- Giselle is definently pregnant. PEOPLE confirmed it (and, as a faithful PEOPLE reader for the past few years, I can tell you that PEOPLE never confirms things like pregnancies or weddings unless and until they are absolutely sure that the news is true).
Anna- What are you trying to imply? That they’re having the baby to try to save the relationship. We are not in their house, so we don’t know what the relationship is like.

CelebBabyLover – I know! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I’m just saying that Adriana has been “4 months” for about 3 months now. Back in February, she was clearly pregnant to her fans, so that has to say something.
I think the most recent pictures of KK were at the CMT Awards, but I could be wrong. She was hardly showing. She probably won’t show until her 8th month. Lucky!

I realize that what I’m about to say here might be considered controversial and ruffle a few feathers, but I just don’t understand about what is going on now a days with young couples if I might say so. It seems to me that there now seems to be this whole movement of young women around my age (I’m 26) famous and otherwise who are just having babies left and right “just because”. I mean, none of my girlfriends and I can imagine being intimate with the guys we date (even serious boyfriends) without being DILLIGENT about using protection. It’s just way too risky on all levels. Please do not get me wrong, I belive that all children are a blessing, but I don’t agree with creating them willlie nilly or living with an “oh well if it happens” attitude either. I’m genuinely asking here, I mean, who goes into things this way? It’s such a foreign concept to me.

patrice, i totally understand where you’re coming from (I’m only a few years younger), but thinking about it, most of them aren’t *that* young and a lot of them are actually married. (I’m not particularly traditional in that aspect, so I thought that was surprising) and, um…. I don’t know. they lead a different life than we do, I guess. from what I read, KK has been a professional for about 10 years or so, so I guess 25 feels differently to her than it would to me. If I had a stable career and/or the financial security at that age (and the boyfriend, of course), I might go for it, too. I’m a little envious, to be honest;)

I just read on the OK! Magazine website that she’s having a boy in October. The thing is, Karolina is just starting to show, and Heidi Klum is fairly big already, and they are both due in October. Karolina must be taller so the bump isn’t showing on her as much.
