Celebrity Baby Blog Sound Off

Though we cherish every moment with our children, there are certain times that feel more “special” than all the rest. Bath time, story time, feedings, naps — each moment holds a significant meaning for a parent. So what’s your favorite?

Campbell Brown recently shared that her favorite moment with son Asher Liam, 3 months, is 4:15 a.m. (!!) when the two get 20 minutes of alone time together. “That is my most precious twenty minutes, because it’s just our moment together,” she explains.

So here’s your chance to Sound Off! Tell us what your favorite moment is with your child!

My favourite time with my son is when he comes home from school, and we have Mummy and Son time where we chill out together, I help him with his English homework, we watch TV or go for long bike rides around Paris or dance (badly!) to music! That’s my time with him, and my only problem is now trying to figure out how to carve out time for him when the new baby comes. As my son goes to school in the mornings, and I work until he comes home and then we have about 2 hours to ourselves before my fiance comes home. We have dinner, and then my son has his time with Daddy or we spend time with friends and it’s time for my son to have a bath and then bed. But I will have to think carefully about it!

My favourite time is the mornings with my girls. We talk about the things we have planned for the day to do together and enjoy some cheerios together lol.

I live near Prospect Park, so my favorite thing is to go to the park with my daughter and just chill out under this huge willow tree. The weathers been great so we go everyday. We just go out there with a few toys and a blanket and she loves it. The first 5 or 6 months of her life were hard, but the times in the park just seem like a glimpse into how much fun we’ll all have when she’s older.

My favorite time with my girls is in the morning when they first wake up. They are so sweet and calm at that time, and it is a nice start to a crazy day.

When I get up in the morning I go get my 5 month old son and bring him into bed with me. My husband is already gone to work at that point. Then I feed my baby and we hang out on the bed and play for an hour or so. The morning is his happiest time of day :-)

My favorite time with my daughter is bedtime. She’s 16 months old and constantly on the go, so those last 30-40 minutes before she goes to sleep we cuddle, read some books, she drinks her milk and then it’s bedtime. It’s the only part of the day where I can get her to stay in my lap for more than 5 minutes.

  7. Erin Says:

When she first wakes up…she is the happiest! Also, her last nursing sessionof the day. It our time together!

  8. Jessicad Says:

Our bedtime routine is my favorite time with my 20 month old, she’s the type who never sits still until she’s ready for bed! I rock her and she strokes my face, plays with my hair and likes to pick my nose:) It’s our alone time, I’m always reminded of her newborn days when it would just be the two of us and I’d nurse her and just stare at her forever, they grow so fast:(

  9. Maria Says:

My favorite time with my son is when we all go out for breakfast on Sunday mornings (my boyfriend is extremely busy the rest of the week) ’cause it’s a change from everyday routine.I also love how he talks to my bump now that I’m pregnant to his sisters and he gives all sorts of funny descriptions of our family and relatives (i.e. ‘Pop-Pop has a big nose, but we love him a lot!’).

  10. Kelli Says:

My favorite with my 3 year old son is when he first wakes up in the morning. He is super clingy and I love that I can still feel like a have my baby. He doesn’t want to be put down and doesn’t want me to get his breakfast either. I love it!

  11. Delaina Says:

Favorite time with my 3 year old daughter these days is definitely bedtime after we’ve watched a cartoon to settle down and read our books. We get under the covers, snuggle and I ask about her day, if she had fun, what she did, etc. Recently she’s started wanting to sing songs before she falls asleep – Twinkle, Twinkle; ABC’s; Itsy Bitsy Spider; and a new song only she knows the words to…something about Chocolate and shake-shake-shake…no idea where that came from! LOL!

I Love when I come home for work he looks at me like I were the only person in the world at the time. Then he smile and then I know my bad days turn into a good day a work
