David Boreanaz and Wife Expecting a Daughter

Bones star David Boreanaz was unable to make the trip to Comic-Con last week, but he had a very, very good reason for staying home. The 40-year-old actor — in a taped message to fans — revealed that the baby he expects with wife Jaime Bergman is soon to arrive, and the couple of seven years are in the pink!
“I’m a little bit stuck in Los Angeles due to the fact that my wife is on her 34th week [of pregnancy with] our second child. And I’d like you to know that it’s going to be a girl.”
Those were the only details David was willing to divulge, however. “Don’t ask me the name because I’m not going to give out any of that personal information,” he added.
Baby girl is due in early September and will join big brother Jaden Rayne, 7, at home.

I was so pleased to hear this – I was convinced they’d have another boy! Love how David said she’s in her 34th week of delivering their child – not what he was going for I don’t think, but so very descriptive for how a heavily pregnant lady must feel. Congrats!

David said that he and Jaime had been trying to give Jaden a sibling for a long time. David is such a nice, down-to-earth guy; not in the least snobby (when fans come up to him on the street and ask for an autograph, he doesn’t hesitate to give it), and just about everyone he’s worked with gushes over him. Jaime (who guest-starred on David’s show “Angel” once) seems like a very sweet person too. A second child of either gender would be great, knowing how long they’ve tried to have one, but it’s nice that they will have a boy and a girl.

I’ve always adored him since Buffy! I am glad they are still happily married and expecting their little girl. Jaden is a gorgeous child and I am sure this little princess will be also!

Have you ever worked with David? The reason I ask is because, I have and believe me he is not popular with the cast and crew of his show. He is not a nice person in the least. I liked him until I walked onto the set of Bones and from that moment on I cannot stomach the guy.

Oh, and now that I think about it, I think it’s more likely that David just wants to help and support his wife while she’s heavily pregnant.

I’m so glad they’re having a girl. Don’t you know Dave is going to have a daddy’s little girl! I was hoping for sometime they would have another baby and was beginning to give up. Way to come through you two – have fun!
