Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel Make It a Date Night

It was a Saturday night out on the town for actor Taye Diggs and his wife, Broadway star Idina Menzel — who showed off her growing belly in a fitted tee — this past weekend. The proud papa-to-be lent a helping hand to the expectant mama as they made their way around West Hollywood.
The married couple of six years expect their first child — a boy! — on September 6th.

Oh my look at Taye. He is is clearly overjoyed about being a father. If he had his way I bet Idina would have been pregnant years ago, lol. She looks amazing. I see she has gotten a tan being in California. Can’t believe she is due next month. Seems like yesterday she announced she was pregnant. Yay for baby Diggs.

Oh my goodness! This is one celebrity baby that I am ECSTATIC for!! Taye and Idina look so excited and it’s no doubt that with their genes this baby boy will be GORGEOUS!

Yea!! I was waiting for this to be posted! I LOVE them! They are both so talented and gorgeous, and I am sure that the little guy will be too! I hope they share pics of him with us, but I totally understand if they choose not to.

I was just wondering about this couple a few days ago. We haven’t heard much from them since they announced they were expecting!! Can’t wait to see their little boy and hear what they name him!!!

Okay, I know what they always say about mommies having that pregnancy glow, but I think Taye is glowing too!!! They are such a cute couple and seem like they are genuinely unbelievably excited to meet their baby!!

These are two of my favorite people to watch on Broadway and on TV. My daughter just loved Idina in Wicked and inspired her to become Elphaba for her musical. Congratulations to the both of you. I am sure that baby boy will have some great vocal chords.

He is so hot, and best of all, he always looks so nice and friendly!
They are a very cute couple…And Idina didn’t seem to gain as much weight as I thought she might…In fact, her bump looks pretty small compared to some others we’ve seen on other celeb moms.

I’m soo excited for them!!
And everyone keeps saying her bump looks small compared to other celebs…but it looks normal to me. I think we’re used to SIDE photos of celeb moms that are pregnant…but I’m so used to seeing pregnant friends and whatever from the front.
