Expectant Celebrity Moms Party at Nicole Richie’s Line Launch

Nicole Richie celebrated the debut of her maternity line, ‘Nicole’ for A Pea in the Pod, by bumping baby bellies with other pregnant moms in Beverly Hills Thursday night at A Pea in the Pod.
“It is completely unreal to have a vision and have it come to life five months later,” she told PEOPLE. “I’m so blessed, I’m so lucky.”
Joined by Judy Reyes, Tisha Campbell-Martin, Nicole Sullivan, Jaime Bergman, Golden Brooks and more, Nicole, who is pregnant with her second child with Joel Madden, modeled an outfit from her line — with a twist.
“This is a tank from my line but I got it in a bigger size so I can wear it as a dress,” she said of her black tank. “I try to wear whatever is comfortable and whatever fits!”
Nicole added that she’s been having fun rotating the items from her line into her wardrobe.
“I’ve been making an effort to change my clothes a lot and rotate through the pieces,” she says. Her favorite? “I really love the paisley dress, I’m a huge fan of prints and I love the color scheme.”
Though she’s in her third trimester, Nicole says she has no plans to slow down her fashion enterprises any time soon. “I have my second collection of House of Harlow 1960 [jewelry] coming out in November, and my regular clothing line coming out in Spring 2010 along with my shoe line.”
She admits that’s worth the effort, though. “I’ve been working extremely hard,” she says. “It’s amazing.”

Well I say good for her for fulfilling her dream. Sincerely. But unless A) you are rich, or B) your name is Michelle Duggar, I don’t see why you would spend 200 dollars on a dress you know you’re only going to be able to wear for a handful of months.
And, in my opinion, I think that “tank as a dress” that Nicole is wearing looks far too short. I don’t mean for this to sound crude, but I can’t imagine that she would even be able to sit down in that without giving everyone a full view. I now fully expect to be burned at the stake for saying this. That’ll be all : )

My goodness, Golden is huge and carrying really high!!! I think Nicole and all the mommies to be look amazing! I wish we could have seen a side shot of Nicole Sullivan–I’d love to see how big her belly is with her due date less than 10 days away! I get jealous when I see pregnant women–it makes me want another one!!

With Roger Federer + his wife having twins and it being kept under wraps-anything can happen lol but I really don’t think Nicole is having twins. She looks very pregnant, but right on time-being she is due this month. When she was only 3-4 months along, she was pretty small-unlike Angelina Jolie (when pregnant with twins Knox + Viv!), even at 3-4 months, she looked HUGE,like 7-8 months pregnant-but not Nicole. We will see though.

Oh my god, I am due in November, the same as Judy Reyes but I am much smaller than her! I would so love to buy something from Nicole’s maternity line but I do only have 2 months and 3 weeks left so I’m not sure if it will be worth it? All these women look absolutely radiant and I am looking forward to hearing about them welcoming their babies while I welcome mine.

I REALLY love Nicole’s dress! I’m usually not a fan of bump-”hugging” clothes (usually prefer flowy), but that dress is to die for! It shoes off her bump so cutely!
P.S. – I wouldn’t be surprised if they had twins either

Nicole looks great, as do the others (I don’t know who most of them are, but they look gorgeous!). And CelebBabyLover, have a read through Anna’s comment again, she was saying why wouldn’t she wear a dress from the line, instead of a tank top, not why wasn’t she wearing her own line. That’s what I got anyway!

I was so excited about this line coming out…I rushed over to my local Pea in the Pod…BUT was quickly disappointed…I don’t mean to sound cheap, but for the pieces I saw, while very cute, they are WAY overpriced (nothing is less than $48 and that is for the tank Nicole is wearing)!

Lis- True, but Nicole and Joel seem to be very open people. If they were expecting twins, I think they’d have announced it by now.
I also want to point out that a lot of people were convinced that Isla Fisher and Naomi Watts (both times…and during her pregnancy with Sasha, someone even went as far as to suggest she was having triplets!) were having twins…and they each had one baby (again, both times in Naomi’s case)!

Also, Nicole and Joel both have twitter accounts, so I’m sure at least one of them would have let it slip by now if they were having twins (even if just by accidentally saying “they” instead of “he or she”).

When I was pregnant and someone asked me if I was having twins I was totally offended. I was 6 months pregnant with my first and I had only gained 8 pounds. It’s unnerving to have people say you are so huge you must be having two. It’s hurtful as well. Why can’t we just keep up with the she is beautiful comments. How many women on here would want totally strangers to say “Wow you are huge it must be twins.” I am sure most of you would be mortified.

I have a friend who’s mom gave birth to twins (her being one of them) and she remained heavy for most of her life.
Nicole is beautiful (where do ppl get thle twin comments?) and she is rather small when covered by a shirt… except when she wears her bathing suit she looks huge. Guess it’s just a thing. I think Nicole should stay pregnant for a long time; she looks so good pregnant.

They all look beautiful and the clothes is nice but it is way to expensive. Who has that much to spend during these economic times, for only a few months while pregnant, and with all the expenses a baby brings? I think it’s great but I suggest a more economic price.

Randa- Never refer to a child- or an unborn child- as an it. As for my comment before, my friend was one of the twins her mother gave birth to. (lol little typo)
Nicole is a beautiful woman; I wonder how she takes those twin rumors? I think it’s horrible when people say that because it makes the woman totally offended. You can just say to the person: “Are you having a boy or girl?” And maybe then they will say “Oh I’m having twins.” Or whatever other thing. Anyways, I have a feeling this one is gonna be a boy. I don’t know for sure but it’s pretty clear in my mind that she’s gonna have a boy. Normally you can tell if it’s a boy or girl baby. I don’t know how, somehow I normally just know! Well, good luck to all these pregnant ladies. (And their fam)

They all look wonderful, and wow, Golden is definitely out and proud with her baby belly.
And Arianne is another one who will have the baby and still look like she does now: like she was never even pregnant. Love to hate her for that, lmao.
