Tom Cavanagh Welcomes Son James Joseph

It’s a boy for Tom Cavanagh! The actor and wife Maureen Grise welcomed a son, James Joseph Cavanagh, on Wednesday, August 5th, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.

Baby James – who weighed 7.8 lbs. and was 20 inches long – joins older siblings Thomas Patrick, 2, and Alice Ann, 3 ½.

The former Ed and Love Monkey star and his wife, a photo editor at Sports Illustrated, have been married for five years.

Tom, 45, was recently on TNT’s Trust Me opposite Eric McCormack and is currently prepping to star in Hairbrained.

    I agree that it’s nice to see “normal” names for a change! But I guess at their Hollywood schools THEY will be the ones with the weird names compared to all the other kids LOL
