Nicole Sullivan Welcomes Son Beckett Edward

It’s a boy for Nicole Sullivan! The actress and husband Jason Packham welcomed son Beckett Edward Packham on Monday, August 31st in Los Angeles.
Baby Beckett arrived at 9:56 a.m., weighing in at 8 lbs., 6 oz and 21 1/4 inches long. He joins big brother Dashel Pierce, 2.
Nicole, the star of Rita Rocks, announced the pregnancy and sex of the baby in February. At the time, she told PEOPLE, “Dash is thrilled to have a partner in crime, Jason is excited about doubling his chances to have a child in the NBA, and I am enjoying all the eating that comes along with being pregnant.”
Rita Rocks will be back on Lifetime for its second season, premiering Oct. 5 at 7:30 p.m. EST. On the show, Nicole, 39, plays an overstretched working mom in a garage band.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! oh my gosh, I love love love the name Beckett Edward (Beckett is one of my top boys names)!!! It goes so well with Dashel Pierce. Very strong, masculine names

awwe! good for them:), i dont like that name but its not my kid. im very happy for her, she was so funny on king of queens. i still watch that show when its on reruns.

Congrats to her! I love the name Beckett, I first heard it when a local personality (Tamara Taggart) named her son Beckett. Anyways, it certainly goes with Dashel!

Congrats to Nicole and family. I’m not a fan of the name though. It doesn’t roll off the tongue very easily and sounds like “bucket” if you say it fast.

Luckily, when I first saw this post, I managed to see the entire headline, as well as Nicole’s picture in the post, so I never thoguht it was Nicole Richie who’d had her baby.
That said, everytime I see the “Breaking News” box at the top of the first page of CBB, I DO wonder for a moment if Nicole Richie has finally given birth. It seems like she’s been pregnant forever!
Nicole, either have that baby soon, or if it’s going to be awhile, at least take little Harlow out for us to see again (it’s been awhile)!
One thing’s certain about Nicole Richie’s baby, though…S/he will definently be a September baby (unless she gave birth in the last few days and they just haven’t announced it yet. I doubt that’s the case, though, as Harlow’s birth was announced almost immeditely.)!

I haven’t seen Nicole or Joel on Twitter in the last few days and they’re usually on most days so I guess they’re either waiting for the baby to come or they’re in the process of having the baby!! Can’t wait to see Nicole and Joel’s little baby!

Congrats to the family! The name – as everyone has mentioned – suits perfectly with his brother. It’s a very charming name indeed. And as for Nicole Richie’s pregnancy, I’m excited for it as well, but I just wanted to point out that Nicole Sullivan was due 5 days ago I believe and we don’t even have a due date for Richie. Anywho, I’m sure Beckett is a cutie and I can’t wait to see if she will make public a family portrait soon

RE: Nicole Richie, there was a rumor she went into labor when she found out about DJ AM, but her mother said it was not true. There were pictures of Harlow and Joel on Popsugar from sunday.

Love the name, but then again I’m partial as my son is Beckett William. Hope it doesn’t start shooting up in the popularity ranks!!

While I like the name Beckett, I think it is a mouth full when said with his last name. Beckett Packham. Worse yet, Beck Packham. Ugh. Kind of reminds me of Debra Messing’s son, Roman Zelman. Maybe it’s the two/two syllable combo.
