Meet Holden Paul Terry Backus!
Meet the Sorvino-Backus family’s newest addition! Actress Mira Sorvino, 41, husband Christopher Backus, 27, and their children Mattea Angel, 4 ½, and Johnny Christopher King, 3, introduce baby Holden Paul Terry in a photoshoot at home in Malibu, Calif. on July 1st.
Born June 22nd after a complicated pregnancy, Holden is now 11 weeks old. Check out CBB’s exclusive interview with Mira for all the details on his delivery!

What a great looking family and her husband is a hottie! I know it’s hard to get pictures of everyone smiling and looking at the camera, but the pictures are to introduce their baby so you think they would have picked better pics of the baby. The first one just looks weird because he’s in a weird position and looks smooshed and the next one he is crying. Also, nowadays with photo shop, they could easily make it so everyone in the picture is smiliing and looking at the camera by taking heads from good pictures and combining them into one picture (my mom, her siblings and grandma got professional pics taken and there was one picture that was perfect of everyone, exept my mom who blinked. So they took a good one of her from another picture and replaced it on the good picture with her blinking and viola…perfect picture!). Cute kids though! And I love their names!

OK…first of all, Mira looks more like 31 than 41. She looks so young! And second of all, holy crap that’s an adorable family! All of their kids are just gorgeous! The whole family is gorgeous!

Becky, that’s actually what I love about the photo, is that it’s not totally posed like so many of these photoshoots can be. You have 3 little ones, they aren’t going to look perfect. I love that you can really see the family’s personality in the first shot.

Anyway the pictures are wonderful. My favorite part is Chris’ beaded bracelets, I bet Mattea made them for him.

What a GORGEOUS LOOKING FAMILY!!! Mira and Christopher look so happy with their family!!! I wonder if Holden will be their last because the family looks pretty complete! CONGRATULATIONS to the Backus family!!

The kids’ names are all different styles in my opinion…
I love the name Holden…it has been my favorite boy’s name since the first time I read Catcher in the Rye. My husband however hated it b/c it was a redneck town near where he grew up.

40 is the new 30. yup. Mira sorvino, hallie berry, demi moore, naomi watts, juila roberts, sandra bullock… many more.. they all look atleast 10 years younger.. either that or im getting old, therefore everyone is starting to look younger…

I have to agree with everyone else – what a gorgeous family! Mira definitely doesn’t look 41 and they look soo happy. The kids are adorable, I bet they’ll all grow up to be heartbreakers. I love the fact that baby Holden is named after his maternal grandfather, Paul Sorvino. That was a beautiful thing to do, seeing as they named Johnny after his father. Maybe Chris’ dad was/is named Terry..? Does anyone know?

Whoa! Her hubby is HAWT!!!! They all look so happy together. I also love the beaded bracelets he has on, my daughter makes that kind of thing for me all the time. And I love to wear them! This is an absolutely adorable family!

I really don’t know, Noelle. I don’t use them but most people I know still do (“but they’re so cute!”)… And they sell them everywhere, even though the American Academy of Pediatrics (or whatever their name is!) absolutely says not to use them… I don’t know that I would have heard about this recommendation though if I hadn’t researched it myself. I was terrified of SIDS and so did everything to try to keep the risk down…

Beautiful family, but y do people have to put such negative things on a positive situation. Aw, so cute! It is good to read the baby seems healthy having such a difficult gestation. Also good that Mira made it through the pregnancy safely. I can’t imagine how scary it must have been during those trying weeks!

Beautiful! I can’t get over how big Mattea and Jonny are now! Time flew by with them, and little Holden is adorable. Cracks me up that in both photos he seems to be like, “People, please! I’m trying to sleep here!”
