Steal That Style: Get a Leg Up on Leggings!
![]() |
Who says the leggings look is a fashion trend to stay buried in the early 90s? After becoming a staple in the fashion world once again, little girls are also happily rocking the style. A perfect alternative to traditional tights, leggings can be placed under dresses or tunic-style tops to keep bare legs warm in the coming months.
Thrilled to be up on her feet cruising down the street with mom Jessica Alba, Honor Marie sported a pair of ruched leggings during a coffee run last Wednesday. A true daddy’s girl, Everleigh Ray was quite the mini-fashionista in her lace-trimmed leggings from Target during a breakfast date with her dad Cam Gigandet! On her way home from school with her mom Christy Turlington Burns, Grace opted for traditional black leggings paired with an oversized zip-up hoodie.

I too love leggings! And with most of the children’s clothing retailers carrying the cutest styles, it’s so easy and economical! My 20 month old daughter looks sooooo adorable in them too. In fact she’s wearing a Baby Gap pair with a dress at school today! She gets a lot of comments on her dress/legging combo outfits. And she has many of them!

Little girls look adorable in leggings and dresses! Plus, they can wear dresses in winter, which they LOVE!
Everleigh Gigandet is absolutely adorable! I didn’t realize she was that big already!

Don’t forget, they were big in the eighties too. We put our two year old toddler in leggings this time of year. They are great.

Cheri, which legging brand do you use/like? I need to get some for my 2yo, too!

We see leggings as a fashion essential with our daughter. I agree with diva, they mean that she can wear dresses when the weather gets cold.

I loved to dress my daughter Alexandria in leggings when she was little (she is now 7 years old). My favorite were the rainbow striped ones. So cute!
