Whoa mama! Kate Hudson makes quite the statement as she shoots a magazine spread, reportedly for an upcoming issue of Harper’s Bazaar, in downtown New York City on Tuesday.
Accompanied by 5 ½-year-old son Ryder Russell, the actress, 30, posed in a variety of ensembles, including a Marchesa wedding dress.
Dad is Kate’s ex-husband, Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson.

I caught a picture of her and A-Rod out and about with his kids recently! I do worry about the impact of people coming in and out of young children’s lives…Kate seems to jump from one man to another. But I guess if Ryder is fine with it then who am I to judge.

EEKS is all I can say. Sorry but I think that dress in inappropriate to wear around one’s child. What do you think he thinks about how his mom is dressed. He doesn’t look too happy here anyway.

Jane, relax, the article says it’s for a photo shoot. If Kate were just dressed like that for no reason, I’d maybe agree with you (even though that dress isn’t really too revealing IMO). I’ve disliked in the past how Kate has gone from man to man, that can’t be healthy for Ryder, but I do think she seems like a good mom who loves her son. Not perfect, but who is.
I actually like Kate with ARod. I hope it sticks.

Jane, I am sure that at 5 years old, Ryder has no feelings on how his mom is dressed one way or the other. He’s too young to realize how sexy she is dressed. Now, if he was say 11 or 12, then maybe it might make him uncomfortable. Anyway, I think Kate looks great and Ryder is a cutie!

Kate looks great & lighten up Jane..she simply brought her son to work with her for the day, she is never dressed innapropriately when she is out with Ryder, he looks just like his dad here!
Although Kate has quite the rep as does A-Rod..they seem to actually really mesh, im surprised it has lasted this long honestly & they are always out with eachothers children!
PS: How cool must it be for Ryder to go to Yankee games & see A-Rod play knowing thats his mommys BF..every 5 1/2 year olds dream!

Kate looks amazing!!! She looked great at the Yankee game last night too-nice and casual in flannel and jeans!!! She can pull off the girl next door look and then turn around and look like this! lovely! Rider is getting so big too!

I actually don’t see anything wrong with what Kate’s wearing. While it might not be something she’d drop her son off to school in, it’s for a photoshoot. Ryder doesn’t look bothered by her attire one bit.

Erica, I absolutely have to disagree, having seeing Kate and Ryder together in person. They sat in front of me at a Broadway production back in August, and Ryder was smiling the entire time. They seemed to be enjoying each other’s company very much, and as I said, Ryder couldn’t have looked happier.

I wouldn’t think twice about wearing this outfit in front of my own child. You have to figure he sees her in a bathing suit and pajamas and whatnot at home all the time. What’s the difference?

Loopsy-It does not say that Ryder will BE IN the photo-shoot.She probably just took her son to work with her! There are plenty of pics with KH and her son and she usually dresses casually but classy.
Any way-Glad to see he has had his hair cut,I more irked by the amount of little boys with long hair,than what a 5 year-old will think about his mum’s sexy dress(Which is not at all)

Nope. I think HE IS IN the photoshoot ladies. He has been in a few others with her already and I say it again…I think its sort of yucky. Not implying they don’t have a good relationship etc etc, and its not eth dress I object to, its just turning your son into a prop for a photo shoot. Weird.
