Stefani-Rossdales: The Breakfast Club

Reunited and it feels so good!
After spending a few days apart due to work commitments, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale are all smiles as they take their sons — Kingston James McGregor, 3, and Zuma Nesta Rock, 13 months — out for breakfast Sunday at the La Brea Bakery in Los Angeles.
Kingston wears Minnetonka’s 3-Layer Fringe Boot ($60).

Ok, are they really in LA or the Arctic? It’s been in the high 60s and 70s in LA I just think it’s weird that they are dressed for 40/50 degree weather!

I have those moccasin’s that Kingston is wearing. Didn’t know they made them in kids sizes…may have to get some for my niece. Love this family!!
October 15th, 2009 at 1:33 pm
This family is by far the best looking, dressed and respectable family in the celebrity world! Little King is getting so big now and Zuma is huge…as for G&G they both look stunning:)

that second picture is precious!!!

As annoying as it must be being followed by the papparazi, they are always happy and smiling, I think they are an awesome family!

Elizabeth – It rained/was cold in LA for the past two days. Today it’s nicer but it has been chilly in the morning and evening. My son wore a wool hat and scarf to school today (We live in Los Angeles)

My favorite family!
I like Kingston’s boots but something more I’d see a girl wearing?
October 15th, 2009 at 2:33 pm
I wonder how long it takes them to get ready!? They always look so fashion-forward! It’s all I can do to get my twins ready to go out of the house, I don’t have much time to think about us all looking trendy, lol!
October 15th, 2009 at 2:36 pm
Gavin and Kingston have matching smiles in that first photo of the cute family!
And that second shot is just hilarious, as if Kingston caught the papz red-handed taking his picture! Has that whole “Aha! Caught you!” feel to it…
October 15th, 2009 at 2:46 pm
urbanadventurertales- I was thinking the same thing!!! It must take *forever* to layer on the shirts, hats, belts, sunglasses, etc!!! I can’t imagine trying to coordinate all of that and I’m a pretty trendy person myself
October 15th, 2009 at 2:54 pm
I love this family, they both seem like amazing parents and their boys clearly adore them!
October 15th, 2009 at 3:35 pm
such an awesome family
October 15th, 2009 at 3:39 pm
I love the look but I live in Alaska and don’t wear that many clothes! They must be very cold natured. Everyone looks gorgeous tho.
October 15th, 2009 at 3:44 pm
I dont think they are wearing anything particularly fashionable or hard to put together. Just jeans, tshirts, sweatshirts, vests, scarves, hats…..like anyone else would dress for fall. It is just a lot of layers! I was struck more by how normal a family they look then anything else, very cute.
October 15th, 2009 at 4:25 pm
This family is just incredibly gorgeous…
October 15th, 2009 at 4:32 pm
It’s funny how you dress depending on your norm. Here in Wisconsin we’ve already had snow and in the mornings it’s in the high 30s/low 40s…and we aren’t wearing all winter stuff yet. Although once we start it’s on for 7 months so we probably put it off for longer than most. (: But it’s amazing what the body can get used to and how quickly…where your “it’s warm/cold outside” adjusts and you dress “appropriately” for the weather. (:

What a cute photo! They look snug and warm. And happy, too!

This family is super cute but they look like they are in London or somewhere else with cold weather. Although it has rained here the last few days their winter attire seems a little out of place. Oh well, cute family!
October 15th, 2009 at 5:14 pm
I’m with you UggaMugga! I’m in Pittsburgh, PA and it has been cold here. Today’s high is 40. I still don’t have the heat on in our house. Once winter “kicks in” around here, you get single and negative digit temperatures. And winter seems to last forever… why do I stay here again?
October 15th, 2009 at 6:14 pm
I don’t get all the hullabaloo… I live in LA and have been dressed like they are for the past 2 days (It’s warmer today, but it was raining and cold the 2 days prior) When it’s cold here, you put on a hat and scarf, not a coat (Notice no giant parkas, just layers with hats and scarves) what’s the big deal? if it’s not deemed “truly cold” buy the those who “really know” what cold is, are those of us here not allowed to stay warm? Like I said before, my son wore a hat and scarf to school today, and it WAS cold enough to necessitate it. I’m from Seattle, lived in Boston for 4 years and lived in England for many years, so I think I can “truly” tell when it’s “cold” – Just because it’s not “negative whatever degrees” here, doesn’t mean this family is silly for putting on layers/scarves etc. First the Cruise family is chastized for not wearing enough clothes, now the Stefani-Rossdales are getting it for being too covered up.
October 15th, 2009 at 6:23 pm
I don’t know where you live, Brandi, but I don’t think they look quite like a “normal” family, lol
I think they look awesome, don’t get me wrong…but definitley not the “norm”.
October 15th, 2009 at 6:29 pm
Have to remember they mostly live in LA so Midwest weather would probably feel FREEZING to them right about now…it’s probably cold to them! I think its funny how Suri doesn’t wear a coat in Boston..which is presumably cold and gets bashed & they get ridiculed for WEARING coats…nobody can win on this site lol!!
They are an adorable family & I love how they dress their kids…beyond cuteness!!
October 15th, 2009 at 6:32 pm
Urban, I’m in Brooklyn. I don’t know, I just don’t think dressing in layers and accessorizing is that weird! Maybe it’s just me or I’ve gotten used to Gwen’s tie-dyed pants and neon bras so this is a refreshing change.
October 15th, 2009 at 11:02 pm
The guy (I think he’s on a bike) in the background is wearing a hoody. In most places the day starts out cold and, if it is going to get warmer, warms up throughout the day. So maybe at the time the picture was taken it was still chilly and they took off layers as it warmed. They always seem like such a loving family! Those boys are stinking adorable, too!!
October 16th, 2009 at 2:49 am
LOVE them! Kingston is rocking his rubashka(russian shirt).
I don’t like the cold. It’s normal picture at home to see me covered with blanket and at the same time my MIL having a mini fan on. Some people are cold always and some like Suri are always hot.
Who cares if they are dressed according to our own expectations, they are just beautiful family!
October 16th, 2009 at 3:09 am
L- I was just thinking the same thing!
October 16th, 2009 at 5:47 am
i love this family.they are so stylish.
October 16th, 2009 at 2:33 pm
I have lived in a Los Angeles beach community all my life. It’s always a little colder by the beach and I have never dressed like this to go out in October. It is just not that cold.
Gwen’s from Orange County. She knows how to dress in sunny California. They’re not in London anymore.
They look great though — just totally out of place.
October 16th, 2009 at 3:01 pm
Lauren – That’s weird because the day this photo was take it was raining and cold in Los Angeles. We were at The Grove (An outdoor shopping mall in LA) and everyone there was in coats/hats/scarves and had umbrellas. It occasionally brightened up with the sun peeking through, but it never warmed up. The Stefani-Rossdales wouldn’t have been “out of place” there at all.
October 16th, 2009 at 5:41 pm
Cute family, but they look ridiculous dressed like that in southern California.
October 16th, 2009 at 6:31 pm
They are so gorgeous, I love Gwen Stefani. And in regards to the “warm clothing” it just depends what you’re used to weather-wise and your tolerance. Gwen grew up in Southern California her whole life where its usually very warm/sunny out, but if it gets the slightest cold weather, its going to feel freezing.
My best friend is Puerto Rican and she has family that still live in PR and it can be 100 degrees + (very hot) and sometimes they’ll come to visit here around NYC and its very hot for us, like 80s or 90s, and they will be “freezing” because its not as hot as they are used to, and that overall tolerance.
October 17th, 2009 at 2:25 am
Ok, it’s like I’m talking to a wall
For the record, on the day they were dressed like this it was:
60 degrees and raining in Los Angeles (and even colder in the morning)! – From Weather.com – and my own personal experience being there that day
Stop saying they were dressed “ridiculously” for Southern California!!! How should they be dressed in cold weather with rain?? Are we only allowed to wear shorts and tank tops here, no matter what the weather is like? They aren’t wearing giant parkas, just layers and hats!
October 17th, 2009 at 9:34 am
One of the people in the backround is wearing a hat and jacket also. So they dont seem to be the only ones dressed like that. They seemed to be having fun that day.
October 17th, 2009 at 10:35 pm
I love this family, they are so adorable together.
Gwen is always so individualistic and yet fashionable.
