Hank Azaria Dishes on a ‘Very Mellow’ Hal

Filming Love and Other Drugs in Pittsburgh is a family affair for newfound family man Hank Azaria. The 45-year-old actor’s girlfriend Katie Wright and the couple’s son Hal, 4 months, have joined him on location — but they’ve proven to be a bit of a distraction!

Hank tells the Jacksonville Observer,

“To be honest, I’m pretty happy to hang around and just stare at the baby for a while.”

Hal’s premature delivery is a distant memory now, and baby boy continues to thrive. “He’s fine — a big 10-pound baby now,” Hank proudly reports before adding,

“He’s very calm, very easily soothed, very mellow so far. It is fun to have the little guy around. He’s just starting to recognize us.”

Love and Other Drugs is expected in theaters in 2010.

   10 lbs at 4 months is a great size for a premature baby! That’s terrific to hear that Hal is doing so well!

   loooooooove him. his interviews are always really cute.
