When mod first burst upon the baby and kid scene, it certainly had its fair share of naysayers. After all, many moms silently wondered, what is a nursery without duckies and bunnies? A few years later and it’s clear that mod is here to stay. And DwellStudio, which counts celebrity moms Gwyneth Paltrow, Gwen Stefani, Keri Russell, and Kelly Rutherford among its devoted fans, proves once again it’s the leader in the mod nursery movement.
As it celebrates its tenth year, the company debuts an ambitious collection of cute new products and patterns — including cool packaging. It includes everything from backpacks and bib & burp sets to crib bedding and storage bins that sport fun, never before seen prints like Sparrow, Paper Dolls, Owls, Organic Poppy and more!

Graphic Knit Blanket ($68, above right): These colorful, bold blankets have baby appropriate prints like heart-like tulips and sky-colored animals on a chocolate background. Made of machine washable cotton and eco-friendly bamboo — one of the world’s most sustainable and renewable crops — the graphic knit blanket measures in at a sizable 30″ x 40,” making it perfect for a good swaddle.
Lunch box ($36): The cafeteria crowd will be abuzz when they catch a glimpse of these! Measuring in at 6.25″h x 9.5″w x 4″d, they’re the perfect size for a school-aged child’s lunch, plus the fully-insulated interior will keep their lunch warm or cool. The cotton-coated canvas exterior — which is available in four styles — packs a pretty punch as well. Pair it with Dwell’s back pack and their new ID tags for the complete look.
Bath Wrap ($68): So cute! Take the chill out of those first few post-bath minutes with this luxurious cotton terry-lined robe. The cotton percale exterior is available in new prints Sparrow and Paper Dolls as well as Dwell classics like Transportation and Dots.
Wash Cloths/Mitt Set ($20): A sweet new baby gift for a co-worker or neighbor, this set includes two plush washcloths and one mitt, all in 100% cotton terry. I’m always on the lookout for a quick, easy gift for those moms-to-be I know — but not well enough to score a shower invite — and this set fits the bill perfectly. Add the bath wrap for an even more fab gift.
Sullivan Messenger Bag ($180): A unisex design both moms and dads will truly love. Measuring in at 12″h x 16″w x 5.5″d, the bag is understated with leather accents and a patterned lining. Our little boys crib bedding is Dwell and I’d love to get more. I was so hard finding stuff that didn’t have footballs or trains all over it – but this stuff is cute, yet modern. Love it!
