Jesse- I would guess it’s more broad, like don’t leave your children unattended/watch them at all times. But your guess is as good as mine!

Jesse – It means to pay attention to your children. They probably had too many instances if children dropping pumpkins and cracking them.

Jesse – It means to watch your child and not let them carry the pumpkins around by the stem …. at least thats the way I take it.

Good question, Jesse. I was puzzled as to what that sign meant too. I’m guessing it means what you said, or something similar. Or, “Don’t let your kid be the one to carry the pumpkin when you choose one.”

I take the sign to mean, don’t turn you back to your child, and pay attention to them and also don’t let them carry their own pumpkins if they’re too big! They could drop them and hurt themselves!

I think the sign means “Keep your eyes on your child so he/she doesn’t wander off with the pumpkin” or something like that.

I think the sign means to pay attention to your children and don’t let them wonder! It could be dangerous if your kid falls on those pumpkin stems! also, if the child drops it they can get hurt and ruin the pumpkin too! They probably do not want any lawsuits or damaged goods!
