Michelle Williams Gives Matilda a Hand
Ramey |
Michelle Williams and daughter Matilda Rose, 4, smile while walking back to their Brooklyn home hand in hand on Thursday afternoon in NYC.
Matilda, who celebrated her birthday earlier this week, can look forward to learning about her father Heath Ledger as she gets older, the actress said recently.
“She can know her dad in so many ways, and so many of his friends who will be able to tell her so many stories. His friends, his family — they were a big part of his life, and they will be a big part of her life.”

I can’t get over how tall and mature Matilda looks. She’s beautiful. I love the way Michelle dresses her too.

I just love Matilda. She is such a cutie!!! And I love her coat too.

She actually looks a LOT like her mom, here. Very cute little girl.

Michelle looks like she’s doing such a beautiful job with Matilda. You can totally tell she is Michelle’s world. When I see them together, I get an ache around my heart because I always think Heath should be there right along side them. I have faith that he’s in Heaven and can see them anytime he wants and I’m sure he’s so proud.

A wonderful mother with her head and heart in the right place. Being a single mom I recognize from everything Michelle says that she has the balance she needs to raise that little girl right.

For some reason, everytime I see them it makes me want to cry…

She is such a beautiful little child (not surprising considering who her parents are), and so happy looking- she seems to be sporting a smile in most of her pictures, Michelle must be doing a great job.

That photo makes me want to cry. I so wish her Dad was around. Her Mum sounds like she’s doing an amazing job and she looks like a very happy little girl.

Wow! Matilda is SO TALL! Either that, or Michelle is really short! I have an 8 year old son who comes up to that point on me, at four he was just about hip-height. (I am reasonably tall.)
Both of them look very pretty in this picture, and happy. I still see so much of Heath in Matilda, but she looks like she has a lot of Michelle’s expressions. I’m glad Michelle is planning on keeping Heath’s memory alive for Matilda.

she looks like Michelle in this picture.

I always thought Matilda looked only like Heath, however the facial expression she is making here, she looks JUST like Michelle.
Beautiful child, regardless

She is finally (in my eyes), TOTALLY Michelle in this shot. Cute!

Beautiful little girl! I am sure she would have had her daddy wrapped around her finger.

I honestly tear up every time i see her, she is so gorgeous and so happy all of the time, michelle is clearly raising her very well and hope she is very proud of herself the way she has handled the last 21 months. Heath would be very proud. It makes me so sad that he is missing out on seeing her grow up, I only hope he can see her from wherever he is now and she hears all about how wonderful her daddy was, and how much he loved her xx

She is mini-Michelle in this picture!

Oh my! In this photo of them, I totally SEE Michelle in Matilda!! Look at her smirk, haha that’s Michelle! I’m starting to see some of Michelle’s features in her!

Aww, she looks like such a sweet little girl. I agree with some of the other posters. Matilda slways looks soo much bigger than other kids her age. Maybe Michelle is just THAT small

Wow, she just looks more, & more like her dad all the time. She seems to have inherited his height as well. Beautiful, tall young lady

I agree with a lot of postings – Matilda is appropriately and beautifully dressed – comfortable and classy! This is such a cute picture!

She does look a lot like mom but I still see so much of Heath in her. It’s still so sad knowing he isn’t around.

what a beautiful photo of mother and daughter!
November 1st, 2009 at 7:54 pm
Michelle seems like a great mom, always spending time with her daughter. Sweet.

This is the first time ever that I see a pic of Mathilda where she resembles her mum. Most of the time she’s all dad. Beautiful pair.

I think Matilda’s hair looks alot like Michelle’s in this picture. And on a totally superficial note…when are they going to get rid of those skinny/ankle jeans…I am sorry but they don’t look good on anyone!
November 10th, 2009 at 7:33 am
I love their smiles! And theis shoes!
