Great costumes! I especially love Len as The Crow.

Is Lily supposed to be Columbia from Rocky Horror?
If she is, she is way to young to be familiar with that movie.

I fell in love with The Rocky Horror Picture Show when I was five-years-old. The music was what pulled me in and I’ve never stopped loving it; even though I know now it was way too mature for me back then, I never picked up on any of that stuff until later on in life. I think it’s GREAT to see Lily dressed up as an iconic Halloween staple!

What a great pic! Kate is always gorgeous even in costume. I posted pictures from this years annual Halloween bash in West Hollywood if you want to check it out CBB.

I was watching slasher horror flicks at age 8. Being “too young” for a movie is so subjective. My son can’t even watch the smurfs but I was watching classic horror at his age. It all depends on the child.

I was 7 when I first saw Rock Horror movie….. she is older and her parents are all in the entertainment business. So it would seem normal for her to be familiar with the movie…plus she looks great in her costume – classy – as opposed to so many costumes out there now even for young girls they make costumes slutty and degrading.

Ashley- I’m sure Lily will be fine. My brother and I both first watched the original three Indiana Jones movies when we were in Elementary school, even though they are definetly not approprite for kids that age (especially the middle one, Temple of Doom, considering all the gory stuff in it).
However, neither of is scarred for life, even though some of the scenes scared the s*&t out of my brother the first time he saw them (he was quite young when he first saw the movies. I was a bit older when I first saw them, and I’ve never been a very sqeaumish person, so I wasn’t nearly as scared). Neither of us grew up to be violent as a result of watching them, either!

It doesn’t matter who dresses up to be the Crow. It’s always hot.

Lily isn’t too young for Rocky Horror. I first heard the music from Rocky Horror when I was six years old. I saw the movie in the theater when I was 13 years old.
Lily looks adorable.

Compared to the horror flicks that are coming out now, Rocky Horror IS nothing! I hear 8 and 9 year olds talking about Saw, Im too scared to watch that!

Lily’s costume is AWESOME!

I love Kate’s “Adam Ant” costume and recognized it right away–I’m an early 80’s music fan forever!!

Re being too young for watching Rocky Horror: my parents let me watch the movie when I was young, but only up until a certain point (the lab). I enjoyed dancing along to the “Time Warp”, and it shielded me from anything too graphic/adult/anything my parents didn’t want to talk to me about yet (every year they let me watch a little bit more). I’ll probably do that with my children as well. I also agree that it depends on the child and different movies can affect some more then others.
Great costumes!

I adore the Adam Ant look on Kate! I did that one year but it goes without saying she looks better than I did! I’m off to sing Stand and Deliver to myself for the rest of the day.

See now I thought Lily was going as Liza Minelli from Cabaret…

I think these are the coolest celebrity costumes I’ve seen.No idea who this woman is but her family and mine have the same taste in movies. And the costumes are impressive.

Sarah: I am also a 80s music fan, but I didn’t realize Kate was dressed up as Adam Ant until I saw your post. *lol*

I have grown up watching Rocky Horror, my mum is obsessed therefor me and my sister are obsessed. Lily makes a fabulous Columbia, I’m going to a sing-a-long Rocky Horror in a few weeks and still cant decide who to go as. Its a tie between Columbia and Magenta, this may have sold the idea of going as Columbia.
