She is glowing. I love him but he needs his facial hair back! I can’t wait to see the little McBaby.

I hope they make good parents but I can’t help but feel that there is going to be alot of therapy in that childs future.
November 13th, 2009 at 2:41 pm
@blue – Seems like a very unfair comment about 2 people that you have never met, much less know well enough to say either way…
November 13th, 2009 at 3:09 pm
@Kristine….its human nature to make assumptions about people based on their past actions and reputations. Is it unfair, maybe but that’s the way it is.
November 13th, 2009 at 3:25 pm
Wow Blue, that’s not excuse to make jerk comments like that, would you make that comment to the parent’s face? Sounds more like you’re trying to justify gossiping.
November 13th, 2009 at 4:01 pm
I agree with Blue. Ms. Gayheart killed a child while driving and they have had a recent sex tape scandal. There is much evidence to believe they may not be as stable or responsible as they should be.
November 13th, 2009 at 4:20 pm
Blue, have you ever heard the saying about assumptions!?
“It’s best not to assume anything as it only makes an ass out of u and me”.
And honestly I don’t think it’s fair to judge someone on their past, that’s just ludacris!
Some people are just miserable in life and need to try and bring others down, I suppose…too bad really!
November 13th, 2009 at 4:45 pm
@Cassie23, While her behavior people have been referring to above was in the past – and people might change – she has been photographed smoking while pregnant, which I find totally repugnant.
@ Ellen Smith, did you have the displeasure of seeing their “non” sex tape? I saw a part of it and I can sum it up in one word: revolting.
November 13th, 2009 at 5:04 pm
Blue is not making a “jerk comment”, just stating a valid point. Ms. Gayheart has quiet a history. Charged with vehicular manslaughter. Together with the father-to-be, recently all over the news with a sex tape described as a drug-induced threesome. Yup, perfect parent material. I hope they’ve changed and are ready to take on parenthood.

“Some people are just miserable in life and need to try and bring others down, I suppose…too bad really!”
Is this not an assumption on your part? How is my opinion any different than someone saying “oh wow she looks like such a good mom” or “they look like such a happy family”? Its not. None of us are privy to the private lives of celebrities and that’s as it should be. We make assumptions about them, either negative or positive, thru pictures, interviews, and how they conduct themselves in public. You may look at this picture and see a nice happy couple who will be stellar parents and I may look at this picture and see something else. I happen to view reckless driving to the point of killing a child, drugs abuse and a rather inappropriate video in a negative manner and not exactly a shining example of mature or responsible individuals. For some people having a child is their wake up call and they change their lives for the better, some do not. I still can’t help but feel for this unborn child. My opinion, my “assumption”.

Shouldn’t people be able to make comments without getting harrassed! Hence the name of this section, “comments”!
November 13th, 2009 at 5:41 pm
This is one celebrity couple that I could care less about to be honest with you. I just wish them happiness and health, that is all!
November 13th, 2009 at 6:00 pm
I’m going to ignore the negative comments that are constantly made by the same people when there is a new post about Rebecca & Eric and just say that I’m really happy for them. Can’t wait to know the name they chose for their little one!!
November 13th, 2009 at 7:52 pm
I very much believe that it is hard to ignore someone’s past but I think that Nicole Richie is a devine example of how people can change for the better over parenthood. She was in a hard spot, and as soon as Harlow was born I’ve heard nothing but positive compliments about how amazing she is as a mother.
I wholeheartedly would love to see the same thing happen for Rebecca and Eric. I know, I’ve seen the video and the pictures. And smoking at all, let alone during pregnancy is repugnant, but “you’re only as sick as your secrets” is a quote I believe in 100%. Maybe it won’t make their child’s life any easier but I think they’ll learn to get past that and explain when the time is right to their child the mistakes they’ve made.

Also she was NOT pregnant when that smoking photo was taken. It’s months old and was mixed in with a new set of photos, and you can tell because her hair is completely different. Her rep issued a statement about it but people seem to completely want to ignore that.
Regarding the little boy who died, that was a horrible, horrible situation that I’m sure Rebecca thinks about constantly. But she has paid her debt to society and I’m not sure why people feel the need to bring it up constantly.
They both look great here.

As far as I know, Rebecca Gayheart is an actress. I vaguely remember her from the 90’s. The Noxzema girl? Could somebody tell me what she has done/acted in recently?
(Um, besides the whole sex-tape thing…)
November 13th, 2009 at 9:03 pm
That’s going to be one good looking kid.
November 13th, 2009 at 9:35 pm
A misdemeanor charge of vehicular manslaughter would imply that, while a terrible tradegy, it was an accident. Not something that you need to judge her for the rest of her life. Comparing it to anyone who chose to drive while intoxicated is not fair. And as for the sex tape, who really wants to be videotaped having sex?
November 13th, 2009 at 9:41 pm
Jen, she was on Nip/Tuck. I think recently, she’s just been featured here and there on TV.
November 14th, 2009 at 5:16 am
funny how you are all so loving and complimentary towards nicole richie, who had a similar history with drug abuse, but so condemning of this couple.
perhaps you should consider that people GROW UP and change, and if everyone were to be judged on the mistakes they had made, NO ONE would ever have children.
speaking of, perhaps you should grow up yourselves. worry about your own lives, not that of two people you don’t know.
November 14th, 2009 at 12:15 pm
For those who can’t get over the past and see that people (even you!) make mistakes: Think about the worst thing you have ever done or the worst thing that has ever happened to you, now imagine that everyone you know and everyone you do not know has knowledge of this event and for the rest of your life everybody will judge you based on that.
Their child will be absolutely georgeous! I love McDreamy…and I agree that I prefer him with the facial hair.
November 14th, 2009 at 4:39 pm
From what I remember, she cut around a car who had stopped to let some kids cross and because she was on the phone, she failed to stop in time and hit the kid. It could have happened to anyone at the time, no one realized back then how detrimental talking on cell phones and driving is. Now its outlawed here in NYC for that same reason. Good luck to them and I do hope that parenting will stop their odd behavior. Sorry, but bathing with a another woman while your husband tapes you is strange.
November 15th, 2009 at 12:21 pm
@sheri : McDreamy is Patrick Dempsey
) Eric Dane’s nickname in greys is McSteamy
November 16th, 2009 at 1:36 am
For what it’s worth, that “sex tape” is at least two years old from what I’ve read. It just now came to light because the other woman in the video was/is (I don’t know if they’ve been succesful in stopping her or not) trying to sell it, if I’m remembering correctly.
November 16th, 2009 at 12:16 pm
I get absolutely sick when they show footage/pictures of her smoking while pregnant. So irresponsible! I have a family member who smoked all through her pregnancy and her child (now 5) has so many health problems. Very sad
November 17th, 2009 at 1:56 am
txgal- Like another poster said, she was NOT pregnant when those pictures were taken. Some tab or something took photos of her smoking and mixed them in with photos of her pregnant. She has a completely different hair style in the smoking ones than in the pregnant ones, so you can tell they’re not from the same time.
Her rep has also said that she hasn’t smoked since she became pregnant. Even if she IS still smoking, it’s possible that her doctor advised her NOT to try to quit smoking, as the stress of trying to quit can sometimes be worse for the baby than continuing to smoke.
Just pointing out that we don’t know the whole story!

Oh here comes the perfection squad *rolls eyes*
Such a pity the people here casting stones at Rebecca cant take a look in the mirror and check themselves first.
I’m happy for them and wish them all the best as parents. God blessed them w/ the gift of parenthood and nothing you bad minded people can say will change that!!!!
