It’s another girl for Australian presenter Jessica Rowe and television journalist Peter Overton! The couple welcomed daughter Giselle Charlotte Overton on Thursday, April 9th. She weighed in at 6 lbs., 8 oz. “Mum and baby are doing really well and Peter is thrilled,” according to Channel Nine spokeswoman Heidi Virtue. Little Giselle “came slightly early” which caused Peter to end an interview that he was conducting for 60 Minutes after Jessica called saying “right, we’re on.”

Giselle is the second daughter for Jessica and Peter, who are also parents to Allegra Penelope, 2. The couple announced the pregnancy in October.

Many believe that motherhood is a life-changing event and actress Toni Collette would have to agree with that statement! Welcoming daughter Sage Florence last year was “the most profound experience of my life … I don’t even know whether I can articulate that to you,” she reveals in a new interview with The Advocate. It has been such an overwhelming experience for Toni that “I don’t think anything I could say could actually really explain how it feels. Until you become a parent, there’s no real understanding.”

The United States of Tara star has been a hit in the gay community since her turn in Muriel’s Wedding, and was asked by the magazine what her reaction would be if Sage, 13 months, came out when she was older. “I wouldn’t care, as long as she’s happy,” Toni replied.

“Look, life is short, so why limit it? I accept people and their decisions no matter what they are. In fact, I think that’s the biggest problem in the world: People want others to align themselves with their beliefs. If people were more accepting of differences, it would be a much more peaceful planet.”

Toni’s series The United States of Tara has been renewed for a second season on Showtime. Sage’s father is Dave Galafassi.

It’s a boy for Australian host Sophie Falkiner. She and husband Tony Thomas welcomed Jack Aston Thomas on Wednesday, January 28th. Sophie’s manager Martin Walsh shared that she is “extremely happy and trying to find some extra sleep whenever she can.” The new baby joins big sister Isabella Grace, 3 ½.

Sophie announced the pregnancy in August after Isabella correctly guessed her mom was pregnant. “She came up to me and said, ‘That big tummy has a baby in it,’” Sophie laughs. “She’s a very sensitive little soul.”

Tennis star Lleyton Hewitt and his wife, actress Bec Cartwright Hewitt, have welcomed a son! Officially making the announcement via their website, the proud parents reveal that baby boy Cruz Hewitt was born Thursday, December 11th. Although keeping any further details surrounding the birth close to the vest, Lleyton, 27, and Bec, 25, share,

"All are doing well and are very excited about the new addition to the family!"

Cruz joins big sister Mia Rebecca, 3. The pregnancy was announced in June, with the couple revealing a January due date. Seems Cruz came a little early!

Australian actor David Wenham and his partner Kate Agnew welcomed their second child, daughter Millie, during the last week of November. No further details are known, but the little girl was welcomed at home by her sister Eliza Jane, 5. The Lord of the Rings star is currently enjoying a break in his work schedule so he can spend time with his family.

David, 43, can currently be seen in Australia, and will next star in the film Public Enemies, to be released next year.

Aussie Naomi Watts saw her home country come to her in New York last night, as she attended the premiere of Australia, the latest film from director Baz Luhrmann. Starring good friends (and fellow Aussies) Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman, Naomi came to show her support.

The actress, 40, and fiancé Liev Schreiber will welcome their second child this winter, a sibling for 16-month-old Alexander ‘Sasha’ Pete.

Naomi, 40, expects her second child with fiancé Liev Schreiber this winter. The new baby, un-named for now, will join 16-month-old brother Alexander ‘Sasha’ Pete.

After revealing that she’s hoping to expand her family with country singer Keith Urban even further, the rumors that Nicole Kidman is already expecting another baby were swirling after her appearance at the premiere of her new movie, Australia. The 41-year-old actress immediately denied the claims, saying she simply has "a little tummy" and blames the speculation on family genetics! "I think I’ve always had a little tummy, though, it runs in the family. My sister does, my mum does, my grandmother did…We affectionately refer to it as the ‘little tummy,’" explains Nicole. However, despite her willingness to offer an explanation, the new mom is quick to remind everyone that none should be needed — she just gave birth!

"My god, I just had a baby four months ago — give me a break!"

As more children are not in the immediate future, Nicole is focusing all of her energy on her 4-month-old daughter Sunday Rose. "Completely besotted with [Sunday]," Nicole — who can’t stand to be away from her baby girl — shares that her daughter has "just discovered her voice," making the proud mama privy to many private performances.

"She was singing up a storm this morning. She’s high and low. Other people may call it screaming — but not to me!"

In addition to Sunday, Nicole also has daughter Isabella Jane, 15, and son Connor Antony, 13, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.

Australia opens November 26th.
