‘Top Chef’ Hosea Rosenberg Plans a Meal for the Jolie-Pitts
![]() Bravo |
When you have six kids, dinnertime is probably a little interesting! But for Top Chef winner Hosea Rosenberg, cooking for a family of eight — say, the Jolie-Pitts — is a snap. The newly-crowned winner of the Bravo TV reality show sat down with PEOPLE earlier this week to “dish” on what he’d serve the famous family. He shared,
“If they came [to my restaurant] with all their kids I’d do something family-style. I’d do a paella or some sort of jambalaya; something where they can just all get into it and get dirty.”
Though the Top Chef — not a dad himself — “loves kids,” cooking for them is a different story! He told PEOPLE,
“I love cooking for kids, but you can’t do anything pretty and sexy or nice for a kid because it’s just going to get spilled everywhere!”
For more with Hosea, check out PEOPLE’s video interview here.

Charlie O’Connell Can’t Wait to Take Karate Class With His Nieces
Jeffrey Mayer/WireImage |
With his childhood days long behind him, actor Charlie O’Connell is clearly excited to give his soon-to-be nieces the opportunities to learn karate and dance — with their uncle right by their side! Inspired by an online video that depicts "little kids dancing," Charlie tells Extra that after watching the clip, his thoughts immediately turned toward his sister-in-law Rebecca Romijn, who is expecting fraternal twin girls in January. "I was like, I want to get them into dance class," gushes Charlie.
Although he is unsure where is enthusiasm stems from, the 33-year-old counts the days until the girls will be old enough to enjoy "all the classes and stuff that…these little kids can go to and that I can suddenly be a part of!" However, Charlie insists that his sudden urge to participate in these baby-oriented classes is not a result of a burning desire to start a family, but rather simply comes from his love of the martial arts. Charlie laughs,
"I want karate class again, that’s what I want. I want to get back in the dojo."
The twins will be the first children for Rebecca and her husband, Jerry O’Connell.

Kiefer Sutherland Didn’t See Dad’s Work as a Boy
London Entertainment/ACL/Splash News Online |
“I always knew my father was an actor…I was quite young and most of my father’s films were restricted so I didn’t really see any of my father’s work until I was 18.”
– 24 actor Kiefer Sutherland talking to Extra about growing up with a movie-star dad.
We wonder if Kiefer’s daughter, Sarah Jude, 20, has always been allowed to see her dad’s work?

CBB was once again buzzing with commentary this week, on everythingfrom baby weight and kids with cell phones to voting on Election Day and the country’s new first daughters. You all had a lot to say, and we lovedreading every word! Here’s a look at five great comments from the past week:
Posted by Tara on Growing Up in the White House:
These little girls are so gorgeous and poised. I think at the age theyare at now, living in the White House won’t be so bad. When Malia turns13 it will probably change. How funny to think of her as a sneaky, spunky teenager. I am thrilled we will get to watch these girls grow up.
Posted by MB on Sarah Jessica and Matthew Take James to the Polls:
Aw that’s so cute! One of my favorite memories as a little girl wasgoing with my dad as he went to vote. He even let me punch the card forhim sometime (shh don’t tell haha!).

Lisa Bonet: I Don’t Have a Secret Child!
Ramey |
Although 19-year-old daughter Zoë has already debunked the rumor, gossip continues to spread that Lisa Bonet has a son with her former yoga instructor. It’s not true, and in the latest issue of PEOPLE, Life on Mars star Lisa discusses the issue, as well as deciding to come back into the public eye years after The Cosby Show.
"To have my face reinstated in minds and homes once a week was an intense decision. [The new paparazzi interest] feels like you’re being stalked. As a shy person, thattype of attention coming at me violates something. I don’t like thatit’s expected to come with the territory.
I don’t have three children already. I always hear that Ido … Apparently, there’s some young child locked in a basement! I don’t dwell on that stuff, but that comes to mind.”
Come January, Lisa, 40, will have three children — her next baby with boyfriend Jason Momoa is due that month! Life on Mars airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on ABC.

Posted by Jess on Milla Jovovich Keeps Ever Gabo Close at Hand:
So cute! I also hated leashes for children…until I had my son. Nowhe’s 10 months old, a walker, will wander off in about 2 seconds(seriously, I handed my debit card to the lady at the peds office today& he was 10 feet away in that little of time) & HATES beingheld. Now that he’s mobile, he wants to be all over the place &holding him doesn’t cut it. We’ll be getting one for our son soon.
Posted by Sara on Sound Off! What Activities Aren’t Safe for Pregnant Women?:
You just have to be aware of your center of gravity, it’s way outthere! I think that’s why so many activities like these arequestionable because it’s hard to judge, I had a few spills, bumpedinto many things, misjudged my balance… it happens so you just needto use caution. Although, I will also say that by the time I’m as far along as Naomi, Ijust want to be laying still, not out riding a scooter!

Posted by lanna’smom on Jessica Simpson: I’d Love Six Kids:
Maybe she wants to be a younger mom, and what’s wrong with that? I hadalways planned to have a child in my early 20’s and that’s what I did.I love being a young mom and wouldn’t change anything. There are manyadvantages, and unlike some other posters, I wasn’t about to wait forthe "perfect" time b/c there is no such thing. It will be life-changingand hard no matter when you do it. There isn’t some magical age whenyou are prepared, believe me!
Posted by MB on Sound Off! When Should Kids Be Able to Dress Themselves?:
I think it depends on the occasion. If we’re going out to the grocerystore and my daughter wants to wear a tutu, what does it hurt? If it’sschool or church, I don’t think that should be an option. I wouldinstead offer several possible outfits and let my child choose one ofthose to wear. This allows each of us a measure of control. Kids shouldbe allowed to be kids for as long as possible, and I think mismatchedclothes is a part of that. But, I still understand the need for them tolook more tidy on certain occasions. I don’t have a child at toddlerage yet, but this is my plan based on observations and on the commentsI’ve read from other moms here, over the past while.

We just told my 4 year old son, that we’re expecting, and he asked ifwe can send it back if it’s a girl…boys only! The funny part is thatwe’re hoping for a girl. I guess one of us will be very excited!
Posted by Cezzie on Sound Off! Did You Reveal Your Baby Name Before Birth?:
I don’t have children but my partner and I have decided to waituntil future babies are born before we decide on a name – let alonetell other people our ideas. When my mother was pregnant with my brother, she told everyone sheloved the name "Jack" and that was going to be his name. Unfortunatelyit only took one person to wrinkle their face and shoot "Jack!?!?!?" ina horrid way to make my mum change her mind. My brother was aroundweeks before he had a name :-S
