According to Latina.com, Colombian actress Catalina Sandino Moreno and her husband, electrician David Elwell, are expecting their first child. Neither the 27-year-old nor her reps have released a statement confirming or denying the news. However, with Catalina famous for maintaining a very private life, it is unlikely that an announcement will be made.

Catalina got her big break in 2004 in her first movie, Maria Full of Grace, earning her an Academy Award nomination. More recently, the actress has starred in Love in the Time of Cholera and Guerrilla, alongside Benicio del Toro.

As with most expectant women, singer Billie Piper is experiencing the usual pregnancy cravings. Her food of choice? Greek! Husband Laurence Fox is doing his best to keep us with her wants and needs, a source shared.

Billie is always hungry, so Laurence is cooking non-stop. He’s doing moussakas, Greek salads and meze.

The doting husband is working hard at making Billie feel more comfortable with a source also adding that Laurence is "working 24/7 to make Billie feel cared for. He wakes up during the night to check if she is OK."

Billie, 25, was seen on holiday caressing her stomach in April. Since then pregnancy rumors have circulated, with a friend confirming the news to The Sun. Billie and Laurence are yet to announce any news themselves.

As she prepares for the birth of her twins, no pregnant celebrity is more dogged by paparazzi than Angelina Jolie. Just as the Jolie-Pitt family escaped to Namibia prior to the birth of their first biological child Shiloh for privacy, it looks like their next birth will take place in France, since they have just leased an  880-acre estate called Chateau Mirval in the Provence village of Correns, on the French Riviera. Many have speculated that this choice was made to pay homage to her latemother Marcheline Bertrand. However, this may havelittle validity as Marcheline was actually French-Canadian, not French, and it appears that another possible explanation may be France’s stricter privacy laws, as far as paparazzi is concerned.

Because it seems like Angelina and Brad Pitt will donate the sale price ofthe first baby photos to charity, as they did with Shiloh’s photos,it’s in their best interest to make sure that they control who takes these images. Not only will their estate be much more private (as asource told E! Online."No one will ever be able to get pictures of them relaxing at home,it’s just impossible"), when they’re out and about, photos of thebabies will need to be blurred to protect their privacy because French law prevents French magazines from running images of the babies. In past incidents, public figures have successfully sued magazines for invasion of privacy.

French attorneys said they would advise magazines to blur the babies’ faces or use images where they are "snuggling up against their mother, or turned from the camera, so their faces do not show." Otherwise, they could be sued because even in public, celebrities have an expectation of privacy from the media as long as they are "minding their own business." However, if they take the babies to a public event, such as the French Event, "there’s no reason to ban the photo." Brad and Angelina’s older kids, Maddox, 6 ½, Pax, 4 ½, Zahara, 3 ½, and Shiloh, 2, would not be subject to the restrictions because they have already been photographed so much and are regularly out in public.

One thing that the law doesn’t seem to prevent, though, is restricting foreign or even French photographers from selling the images abroad where laws are not as strict.

Update:  In Touch Weekly is reporting that baby-on-the-way is a girl.  Though David has not yet admitted publicly to being the father, the tabloid cites sources who indicated that the former couple are working on a child support agreement.  The baby is due to arrive in late summer.

Originally posted Jan. 16: Jillian Grace, a 22-year-old former Playboy Playmate, is expecting a baby — and she’s identified David Spade as the father, TMZ reports.  No word on how far along in the pregnancy she is, but in a statement to TMZ David acknowledged that he had a "brief relationship" with Jillian.  Added David,

If it is true that I am the father of her child, then I will accept responsibility.

The baby would be the first for David, 43.

Update: Us Weekly is reporting that the baby was born this weekend — Cash was seen bringing food in the maternity ward, and Jessica’s father was overheard saying, "She’s beautiful." At the moment, Jessica’s rep Brad Cafarelli has no comment. When he does, we’ll post the birth announcement.

Originally posted June 7th: A CBB reader emailed us early this morning to say that she spotted Jessica Alba, expecting a daughter at any time, being wheeled into Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles around 10 pm on Friday. The reader reports that Jessica’s husband Cash Warren was also on hand, carrying birthing balls, and was seen standing alongside security guards. Jessica has not been photographed in 11 days, so we would not be surprised if she has given birth.

Jessica, 27, is believed to have been due in late May. Baby-on-the-way is the first for the couple.

Update:  The source relied on by Entertainment Tonight in its erroneous reporting last week that the Jolie-Pitt twins had arrived could be someone masquerading as Angelina Jolie’s assistant and friend Holly Goline. Jossip said yesterday that an impostor has been using a fake BlackBerry email address to send members of the media false information about Angelina and partner Brad Pitt.

No laughing matter, Angelina’s lawyers have gone so far as to circulate a letter to various entertainment news outlets explaining the situation.  The law firm Lavely & Singer stated in their letter,

A random individual has engaged in a scheme to intentionally harm my client and deceive her fans, the public and the media through illegal and tortuous impersonation of Ms Jolie’s long-time assistant, Holly.  The individual who claims to be, and to whom the media has relied upon as, a ‘reliable source’ is not my client’s assistant, nor does the email address belong to my client’s assistant.

It is being reported that singer and music producer Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, 50, and his girlfriend, dancer Nikki Patenburg, 35, are expecting their first child together.  According to the reports, the baby is due at the end of the year.  Their reps have yet to comment on this rumor.

If this is true, this will be Babyface’s third child. He has sons Brandon, 11 ½, and Dylan Michael, 7, from his marriage to Tracey Edmonds.

Update: Pete and Ashlee have officially confirmed on his site that they are indeed expecting their first child.

Whilemany have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after thefirst trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our firstchild.  This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we areexcited to share the happy news and start our family.

Despite a rumor started by a fly-by-night blog (that I won’t dignify by naming or linking), Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt did not welcome their twins on Monday (Memorial Day in the US). According to this bogus rumor, the twins, who they allegedly named Isla Marcheline Jolie-Pitt and Amelie Jane Jolie-Pitt, were born 3 months early via c-section somewhere on the French Riviera. The writer claimed to be best friends with one of the family nannies.

In an age where photographs of celebrity’s newborns are costing millions, it appears as if actor Matthew McConaughey, 38, and model Camila Alves, 25, are hoping to cash in as well — all while keeping control of baby’s introduction.

The couple is rumored to have hired brand agent Todd Shemarya, who worked with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, to secure a publication to purchase the first images of their baby — a delivery surprise due to arrive in late June/early July.  Reportedly, three magazines are currently willing to pay over $1 million for the photos.
