"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Jason Priestley keeps wife Naomi ‘fed and watered;’ drinking up every second of fatherhood
Side Order of Life star Jason Priestley, 38, and his wife Naomi welcomed daughter Ava Veronica on July 2nd, and the new dad couldn’t be prouder of both his now 3-month-old daughter and his wife.
[Ava]’s gorgeous and I just love her to pieces, both her and my wife, Naomi. I’m a very, very, very lucky man.
I do sleep prettywell for the limited amount of time that I sleep. She is a good sleeperand a good eater and we are all doing really well. It is a team effort. It is just the three of us, we don’t have any help. We are all in ittogether. I feel like I’m the cook and the manager and the diaperchanger. I’ve got to make sure that I keep my wife fed and watered soshe can keep our baby fed. It is Ava’s job to sleep and to poop.
It isa beautiful cycle of life going on. I love it. I’m so lucky and blessedto be able to have this time with my wife and daughter. I’m justdrinking up every second of it. Before I know it, I’ll go to sleep onenight and wake up and she’ll be asking me for the car keys.

Jason Priestley wants to ’soak it all in’
Actor Jason Priestley, 37, and his wife Naomi Lowde Priestley welcomed daughter Ava Veronica four weeks ago, and as previously mentioned, have bucked a Hollywood trend by deciding to go nanny-free. The decision to do it themselves was an easy one, says Jason, because participating allows him to experience every aspect of fatherhood.
I love being a father. It’s totally ineffable. I love changing diapers. I love the whole thing — I’m all in. The time we’re going to get to spend with our daughter actually beingan infant is so short that I really want to have that time with her. The fractured sleep that you get, the whole experience– I really want to have it all and soak it all in.
Although forever immortalized as 90210’s Brandon Walsh, Jason continues to act, most recently in his new series Side Order of Life, which came at the perfect time — it allowed Jason a paternity leave.
My wife and I were planning on having a child this summer, so when Dan Jinks and Bruce Cohen, our executive producers, started talking to me about doing ‘Side Order,’ the timing of it worked out perfectly for me. I knew that I’d be at home for the first four months of Ava’s life.

Jason Priestley: It’s ‘Kid PIDDY;’ expounds on fatherhood
We have to apologize to actor Jason Priestley — earlier this week, we posted about his appearance on Conan O’Brien and his nickname for his daughter Ava, 11 days — Kid Pity. Jason joked to People magazine last evening,
Kid Piddy is her name. And Kid Piddy is spelled P-i-d-d-y, not Pity, which has been very erroneously reported.
While promoting his new series Side Order of Life at the Television Critics Association press tour, Jason was seen downing cups of coffee.
I just had a daughter 10 days ago and I’m totally, absolutely sleep deprived, which is absolutely fine with me. Naomi’s doing very well. I’m sure she’s resting right now. If the baby’sasleep, I’m sure she’s asleep too. It’s good. There were no bigsurprises in the first 10 days, but I’m sure there’s many to come.
On thing the couple is prepared for is to travel with Ava — the couple live in LA, but Jason is Canadian and Naomi is British.
She’ll have an American passport, but of course she’ll get a Canadianpassport as well. But my wifeis British, so I think she’s going to learn to be in a three-passportfamily.
