Movie star and actress, Julia Roberts, talked to Life Magazine this month about her role as a mother to twins, Hazel and Phinnaeus, 2, with husband, Danny Moder and her most recent project; Charlotte’s Web.

What are you reading to your kids now?

Good Night, Maisy. First Book of Sushi ($7), which they love and we read almost every night.

Did being a mom have anything to do with you signing on for Charlotte’s Web?

At the time they were just teeny-tiny new babies…so at the time I just remembered loving it as a child.

Have the twins seen you on the screen at all?

I think my son saw me on TV once for a split second and said "Mommy!" But when Hazel sees any mom figure in a bok she says "Mommy!"

Julia Roberts made an appearance on Oprah yesterday to promote Charlotte’s Web, the live action film based on the classic children’s book by E.B. White, also starring Oprah Winfrey herself.  Julia may be a star in the film, but it’s clear her most important role is being a mom to two year old twins, Hazel and Phinnaeus, with husband of four years, Danny Moder.

Actress Kate Beckinsale, 33, was seen shopping with daughter Lily, 7. Later, the mother and daughter visited a beauty salon, where Lily can be seen reading Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White ($8). Lily’s father is Beckinsale’s ex-partner Michael Sheen, 37, and step-father director Len Wiseman, 33.
