"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Halle Berry hoping for organic nursery
First-time mom-to-be Halle Berry is beginning to plan her nursery, and the Oscar-winning actress is keeping the planet in mind. At the premiere of her new film Things We Lost in the Fire last night, Halle said the baby’s room is "going to be organic and eco-friendly."
There are so many things out now that you can use…They even have organic disposable diapers…I’m going to really try hard to make it all organic!
At the after-party, Halle clutched a book of motherhood blessings given to her as a gift, and told reporters that her role as a mother in the film only reinforced her long-held belief that she was meant to be a mom, herself.
I do have a really strong maternal instinct and I really do need to have children.
In agreement is director Susanne Bier, who noted that Halle "had no issue with being [a] mother" in the film.
The kids on-set were calling her mom. I think that proves it pretty much, that there was a natural thing where they were calling her mom.
The baby — due in March 2008 — will also be the first for Halle’s boyfriend, model Gabriel Aubry.

Halle Berry on her baby’s sex and relationships
Halle Berry, 41, is sticking to her word about not finding out the sex of the baby that she is currently expecting this winter with boyfriend Gabriel Aubry. In an interview with Meredith Vieira of the Today show, the actress said,
We’re going to wait. There’s not many surprises in life, so let’s make this as big as it can be.
Since becoming pregnant with their first child, both Halle and Gabriel are preparing for the changes that will take place in their lives.
We walk differently, we think differently. I know it’s going to change our lives and we both know that. We’re preparing in every way. Nothing is important anymore but this little baby that’s inside of here. All the little mundane things that we worry ourselves with just — pfft — go out the window.
Halle, who has been married twice before, states that she and Gabriel will most likely not marry and that they are defining their own relationship.
We’re committed and we’re family people. We just want to redefine it. I’ve done it twice that way. I’m learning from my mistakes and I want to do it differently this time. I think it will probably last a long, long time, because we’re doing it differently.

Halle Berry talks cravings and clothes
If you’re miserably entrenched in your first trimester of pregnancy, don’t look to Halle Berry to commiserate with. The Things We Lost In The Fire star, currently 4-months along with her first child, is experiencing all the ailments typical of women who are newly pregnant — not that she’s complaining.
There is nothing bad about it. The morning sickness and the vomiting and the hot sweats. Nothing’s been bad about it. I’ve loved every second of it.
As for cravings, Halle said her food preferences — including a recent hankering for "hot and spicy pepperoncini" — change daily. That said, the 41-year-old actress added that she tries "to listen to my body and not overdo it so I don’t become too big." Since "big" is definitely in her future, however, Halle says she has a fashion plan in place.
I think I feel like I’m such a slave to fashion. It’s a hard concept for me to fathom that I’m going to have to wear maternity clothes. Everything is up here [empire waist] and shift-y, so I think I can work it out in normal clothes with normal designers in their collections until the eighth or ninth month, then I might have to break down and do maternity.
The baby will also be the first for Halle’s boyfriend, 31-year-old Gabriel Aubry — and from the sound of it, it will not be their last.
My age dictates it. I need to be ready for more. … Not three, but two would be nice.

Could Halle Berry be pregnant?
Splashnewsonline.com has posted this photo on their blog and asks whether Academy Award winning Halle Berry is pregnant. In these photos of her surveying construction on her Halle appears to have a belly- whether it’s because she’s taken a sit-up hiatus or there’s a baby in there is up for speculation.
In April, she told Extra! that if she didn’t get pregnant, she planned to adopt (and even if she did get pregnant, that she would adopt too). She’s currently dating Versace model Gabriel Aubry. Not a bad specimen for a baby daddy! In November 2005, MTV Europe reported on their website that Halle was pregnant with her then boyfriend actor Michael Ealy.
