My Name is Earl actress Jaime Pressly, 30, gave birth to a baby boy named Dezi James in May. She and her fiancé DJ Eric Cubiche, 32, would like more children in the future, but right now Jaime is keeping busy with her clothing line, J’aime. She talked to People at the J’aime fashion show in Hollywood on Monday about her thoughts on more children:

Not soon, but yes, definitely. We make good babies!

Jaime went on to explain that her new clothing line is new mommy friendly. She explained:

I was thinking of being a new mom who still wanted to be sexy but at the same time keep it under wraps.

Besides the introduction of her new fashion line, Jaime brought home the Emmy for outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series this year. She said:

This was a big year for me. I’m so excited. it was just huge. I’m just really excited for people to see how far the line has come and how amazing it is now. It really isn’t what anybody is expecting.

Frances Benioff may have taken months to smile, but that’s not the case with Dezi James Calvo, now 3 months. Jaime Pressly, 30, says her son started smiling at five weeks.

His laugh is amazing. He started smiling at his fifth week and at seven weeks he [was] giggling. That’s very fast development. His smile just melts me.

Jaime Pressly used her 30th as an incentive to drop her babyweight and it definitely worked. She showed off her taut abs at herbash last week. Now she tells Us Weekly how she did it.

The My Name is Earl star, who weighed 155 lbs at the end of her pregnancy with Dezi James, 3 months on Saturday, is down to 125, fivepounds away from her goal weight. She lost the first 10 through aseven-day detox diet that included three days of only cabbage soup andvegetables and a potato and grilled chicken meal by day six. These days,Jaime eats four-to-six daily mini-meals.

Now I’m on a strict protein diet.

Jaime also hit thegym 10 days after her May 11 delivery to do three-hour sweat sessionsof cardio and core workouts five days per week. Not long after, she dropped four inches from her waist.

I needed to get back to my shape. I had a closet full of jeans that I couldn’t wear!

Theactress also notes the pressures of Hollywood that pushed her to gether get her body back. This means there are no plans to make Dezi a bigbrother just yet.

People are asking about the next baby. Can I get back I shape first? I don’t want to lose my job! I worked hard to lose this weight for the show and for myself.

Emmy nominee Jaime Pressly didn’t win the award last year, but she didn’t have her good luck charm then – her son Dezi James, 10 weeks. The My Name is Earl star hopes Dezi will help her convert her nomination into Emmy gold this time around.

It’s very surreal to be laying here in the Bahamas overlooking theamazing view and have my son on my chest asleep and to findout that I got nominated – it’s pretty great. They say babies bringgood luck, so who knows, maybe he will bring me luck. He already has.

My Name is Earl actress Jaime Pressly, 29, made no secret of the fact that she didn’t exactly relish her pregnancy with son Dezi James, now 10 weeks, calling the third trimester ‘hell’ and saying that you ‘want to stab your eyes out.’ Now over two months postpartum, gossip site BANG! Showbiz reports that Jaime is being completely honest with her pregnancy experience, saying,

As a new mom, I’m supposed to go on about how wonderful it was to be pregnant. Well, I don’t buy into that. The truth is that I love my baby to bits, but the rest of it sucked. Pregnancy was the biggest killer for me. I hated it — I hated being fat.

My hormones were all over the place and I acted like some lunatic, picking fights with my [fiance Eric Calvo] over how he made my coffee.

On top of that, I had this hideous ‘pregnancy mask’ skin discoloration [CBB note: melasma] which completely covered my face. You can normally use creams to disguise it, but not when you’re pregnant, so I had to walk around looking like I was horribly disfigured. This may sound arrogant, but I’m used to looking hot. I just wanted to cry all the time. Nobody tells you this stuff when you talk about having a baby — it’s all kept as one big secret.

The only amazing thing is when your baby pops out and you have this little thing that is going to be part of your life forever.

Jaime’s personal goal at the moment is being in shape for her 30th on July 30th, which she’s celebrating in a big way.

I’m having a party and then a [vacation] and I aim to be in a super-slutty outfit for the first and a swimsuit for the second. I love being a mother, but I want to be a super sexy mother with a better body than ever before…I want to look in the mirror and like what I see. People may think it’s [crazy] but it makes me happier to see my body coming back.

In the latest issue of People, actress Jaime Pressly, 29, introduces her son Dezi James, now 7 weeks. She and fiancé Eric Calvo (DJ Eric Cubiche) welcomed Dezi on May 11th; she told People that,

We are both head over heels in love with him.  We’re constantlyplaying with him…He’s just a joy.  Smiling and easygoing.  I guessthat means the next will be a devil.

Friends and family of Jaime Pressly and Eric Calvo will soon be receiving an adorable and stylish surprise in the mail — the birth announcement for the couple’s 5-week-old son, Dezi James Calvo. 

The new parents chose an announcement from Tiny Prints, deciding on the Blue Chocolate Bear style by Simply Put by Ashley Woodman, pictured at left.  The design features a diecut teddy bear on a blue card mounted on a chocolate brown card. (This announcement is very similar to the design Danielle and Josh chose for Anya’s birth announcement.)

The announcement is in keeping with the invitation Jaime used for her baby shower, also purchased from Tiny Prints, in the Boy Belly style. 

Jaime is just the latest mom to announce her celebrity baby birth with Tiny Prints; Gwen Stefani, Debra Messing and Ming Na are all clients of the Northern California stationery company.

Why the safari theme?: Teddy bears get old. It’s great stimulation and he’ll grow into it. [We chose the crib and changing table] because you can use them for a boy or a girl.
