Life & Style is reporting that actor Jake Gyllenhaal, who is reportedly in the early stages of a relationship with soon-to-be divorced actress/celebrity-mom Reese Witherspoon, is not only falling for the Oscar winner, but is already head over heels for her two children, 8-year-old Ava and 3-year-old Deacon. A friend of Reese’s says,

Jake loves those two kids. He’s is so good with them. He loves kicking a ball around with Deacon, and he even lets Ava play hairdresser with him.

Jake, a celebrity uncle to sister, actress Maggie Gyllenhaal’s daughter Ramona, and celebrity-godfather to his former costar Heath Ledger’s, daughter Matilda, has mentioned his desire to be a father and may be considering the role of stepfather.  According to Reese’s pal, he reportedly told the actress, "I want to be a part of your family." One of the things that Jake find most attractive in Reese is her exemplary mothering skills, a Gyllenhaal family friend says. The pal adds, 

Jake’s impressed by how wonderful she is with the kids. He’s told his friends how much he admires the good manners she’s instilled in her kids.

While he may be a major movie star and celebrity, one of Jake Gyllenhaal’s favorite roles is playing uncle to his sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal and her fiance, Peter Sarsgaard’s daughter, Ramona, 5 months tomorrow. Jake told PEOPLE on Wednesday at the Cinema Society and GQ New York City screening of Zodiac;

It’s great, wonderful. [She's] incredible. Of course, I’ve brought over presents. She’s not talking yet, but she looks amazing. I revel in her growth. It’s an amazing process to watch – and to watch my sister also.

Jake Gyllenhaal, the brother of new celebrity mother Maggie Gyllenhaal appeared on Conan O’Brien’s show and told of his niece, Ramona, almost 5 months, and how Maggie uses cloth diapers! He changes them too; apparently they are organic tie-on cloth diapers.
