Actress Jill Hennessy, 38, was spotted out for breakfast in NYC with her husband Paolo Mastropietro, son Marco, and other family members. They seemed to be celebrating Marco’s 4th birthday, which was yesterday. The couple expect their second son in November.

We learned Jill Hennessy, 38, and her husband Paolo Mastropietro were expecting their second child in late June, but she’s remained mum on the subject, despite her growing belly. When asked about the obvious pregnancy by People magazine on Saturday, Jill joked,

I don’t know what you’re talking about. I think it’s just too much beer and burritos.

Getting serious, Jill discussed why she decided to stay quiet about the good news, and also revealed that the new baby will be a little brother for son Marco, 3 1/2.

I like to be sort of tentative about these things, but it’s definitelya boy. I’m almost six months pregnant with a boy. I’m still trying to find a name that goes with Mastropietro…maybe something Irish?

Pregnancy the second time around has brought more clarity for the Crossing Jordan star, now that she knows what to expect — she’s even prepared to be overdue.

I’m definitely less worried, much more relaxed about it this timearound. I’m still dying to meet this little person, but now I’ve got apretty good idea about what will happen over the next few months andhow uncomfortable I will be, especially if I go past my due date, whichI did with Marco.

Jill, who says ‘anything fried –- hamburgers, fried chicken — turns me off‘ is currently focusing on preparing her CD, which she says should be done by fall. However, son #2 is her first priority, remarks Jill. She’s planning to get her nursing relationship off to a good start first, then will promote her new music.

I want to get some quality time with this dude, especially in the firstfew months of lactation, and then maybe even tour. Music is actuallywhat I did before I acted.

Jill Hennessy’s son Marco is a quick and obedient learner. The Crossing Jordan star often brings her 3-year-old to the show’s set and Marco has learned to follow the director’s orders.

By now, he knows everyone, and I’ll bring him in for rehearsals andsome of the filming. He knows to be quiet when hehears ‘Action!’ I’ll ask him, ‘When can you make noise?’ He’ll say,’When the director says, "Cut!"’ It’s tough when it’s a dialogue-heavyday with a lot of medical speak, but he lightens the mood.

Jill and her husband, bartender/actor Paolo Mastropietro, have been married for six years.
