"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

ModernMom.com: Bridgette Wilson-Sampras talks about putting family first
Bridgette Wilson-Sampras isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty with a little finger paint. The 34-year-old actress, wife to tennis great Pete Sampras and mom to sons Christian Charles, 5 and Ryan Nikolaos, 2 ½, says she keeps busy by spending time at a preschool co-op which "requires a fair amount of involvement." Not that she’s complaining! Says Bridgette,
I love it.
Being a lot of different things to a lot of different people — even little people, as the case may be — is all part of being a modern mom, Bridgette tells ModernMom.com in a new interview.
A Modern Mom is a woman who has the ability to put the job of ‘mommy’ above all yet still find time to take care of her own body and spirit. I work out every morning before the kids get up and it helps me tremendously throughout my day—I’m a better mom for it! I also have a ‘girls’ night’ every once in awhile to nurture my girlfriends, who I love and treasure. And very importantly, I schedule a regular ‘date night’ to keep our love as a couple strong so we as parents are even stronger!
Bridgette says that, for her, it’s an easy choice to put family first. But when she does take time out for herself professionally, her family — in turn — rallies around her.
I balance family and career by doing what makes me the happiest! That for me, without question, is putting my family and kids first. Therefore, I work a lot less acting wise, but the jobs I do take mean something to me and my surrounding support system knows it. They work extra hard to help me during those times! Pete takes on more, and my mom will travel with me on location. I’m blessed to have the best of both worlds, but I do believe its because I work to nurture both.

Gabrielle Reece on easing back into postpartum fitness
Gabrielle Reece talks about her post-pregnancy body rehabilitation in her latest ModernMom.com column. She gave birth to her second daughter Brody Jo Hamilton on January 1st. She mentioned that she had to have a second c-section — her 4-year old daughter Reece Viola was born after 17 hours of labor and two of failed pushing, and "here in Hawaii they don’t like to do VBACs (vaginal birth after caesarean)." However, Gabby was already 6 cm dilated when she arrived at the hospital!
Having had a c-section, the 38-year old volleyball player knew she had to take it easy, but the athlete in her couldn’t wait to exercise again. After 16 days, she started "very, very light exercises" and then at the three week mark, she climbed onto her bike for light spinning. And Brody, who Gabby reveals "looks like a smaller version of Reece" is her workout buddy — she said,
I would bring Brody with me intomy home gym and work out for as long as she would lie there. I can sometimesextend my workouts by breastfeeding her — I haven’t started pumping yet so I’mmilking on demand for the moment — and then, I put her back down on a blanketwith me on the floor.
Gabrielle, husband Laird Hamilton and their girls posed for a photoshoot in Hawaii over the weekend (click here for more photos). It’s refreshing to see that she still has a little belly, which goes to show that not all celebrity moms snap back into shape immediately. It’s also nice that her column doesn’t stress losing weight — her focus is just about getting back into shape.
Her tips to ease back into a workout are realistic and doable. They include moving a little each day, setting the tone of the day with your mind, and visualizing what you’d like your new body to look like. For the details, visit ModernMom.com. In closing, Gabby says,
Being pregnant, having a baby, and having had a C-sectionwould make anyone feel vulnerable -– I know that’s how I feel. But I believeit’s great to go through the incredible experience of giving birth and raisinga baby and allowing yourself to feel all your emotions to their fullest.
Do you have any tips for easing back into fitness? Also, if you hada VBAC in Hawaii at a hospital or birthing center, tell us which one!

Lisa Rinna says daughters, husband are her “favorite people”
When it comes to spending time with her kids, Lisa Rinna tells ModernMom that its quality that matters — not quantity. The 44-year-old mom to Delilah Belle, 9, and Amelia Gray, 6 has a lot going on, between her clothing boutique Belle Gray, her rejuvenated career following an appearance on Dancing With The Stars and a happy 10-year marriage to actor Harry Hamlin. When her professional commitments keep her from her family, Lisa admits that she’d rather be with them, but she says she believes in doing everything "100%."
I am in the moment. When I am with the children, I am WITH them. They know that and they feel that. When you’re with the kids, you should really pay attention — and not think about the grocery list or anything else. Or, when I am working, I am really doing that.
You don’t have to spend 24-hours a day with your kids, nor would they want you to. It’s all about the quality of the time you do spend. Give them the right attention and they feel loved and listened to.
Nobody is better at giving that kind of attention than Harry, according to Lisa.
The other day, the girls were playing hair salon, and Harry was the client. He had rubber bands in his hair – can you just picture that? He will sit there for hours. He is so patient. I learn from him.
Whether its playing hair salon or going to the beach, Lisa says that the opportunities for fun with her family are seemingly endless now that the girls are getting older.
The girls are at a really fun age. There are no more diapers or sippy cups. We had eight years of that and that’s a long time. We are now in that place where we can go anywhere. We can go to the movie together. It’s so much fun. They are funny and they have their own points of view. They are my favorite people. I like being with them and Harry more than anybody else.

Heidi Klum runs into Nicole Richie, provides birthing advice
Model and celebrity mother Heidi Klum, 34, ran into reality star and new mother Nicole Richie, 26, at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel, before Nicole gave birth to baby Harlow Winter Kate this past Friday. Heidi, who is a mother of three already gave Nicole some birthing pointers. The model mother spotted Nicole across the room and made her way over. The conversation was recounted in Angeleno magazine’s January issue, which Heidi features on the cover.
Heidi: Whoa — baby’s coming! Are you nervous?
Nicole: Terrified. Giving birth is my biggest fear.
Heidi: You’ll do fine. Just trust your body. It knows what to do. Just get in there and — whoop! — push that baby out.
Nicole: Carrying this thing around with me is kinda weird.
Heidi: You know what? You look beautiful. That’s just life. The first time I did the Victoria’s Secret show, I was five months pregnant and nobody knew. You’ll do great!
Heidi is married to musician Seal, 44, and together they have three children; Leni, 3 ½, Henry, 2, and Johan, 15 months. Nicole and rocker boyfriend Joel Madden, 28, welcomed Harlow Winter Kate Madden on January 11th.
