"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Will Ferrell out with sons on Tuesday

Actor and comedian Will Ferrell, 40, was spotted out on Tuesday with his sons — Magnus, 3, and Mattias, 7 months — and the family nanny. The photo agency caption states that the woman is Will’s wife Viveca, but this is untrue. The woman is the Ferrell’s nanny, Sara Svensoon, a Swedish friend of Viveca’s who has worked for the family since Magnus was an infant — he was the ring bearer in Sara’s recent wedding.

Emma Thompson’s depression over infertility

Tags: News, Quotes

258348emmathompsonpostersIn an interview with Entertainment Weekly about her long, successful career in Hollywood and her new film, Stranger Than Fiction, costarring Will Ferrell, actress / screenwriter (Sense & Sensibility) Emma Thompson, 47, shared one of her darkest periods. Emma, who has a daughter, 6-year-old Gaia, with her husband, actor Greg Wise, says she had a lengthy, unsuccessful and difficult round with in-vitro fertilization, that left her with feelings of failure and guilt.

"After that, we tried to have another child, it didn’t work, and I went into a deep clinical depression," she says. "It’s only now that I no longer count other people’s children or judge myself harshly for not providing my daughter with a sibling."

We had posted back in January about Emma and Greg adopting a 17 year old Rwandan orphan, but he’s apparently off to college!

Will Ferrell on his son Magnus’ name

Tndc_4Will Ferrell answered questions from People magazine readers.  One reader asked how he and wife Viveca Paulin chose the unique name Magnus for his 2 1/2 year old son.

Will’s response: "My wife was born in Sweden and we loved the idea of a Scandinavian name.  I’ve gotten a lot of flack: ‘What kind of ego do you have to have to name your child the great one?’  That is not it at all."

According to ThinkBabyNames.com, Magnus, pronounced MAG-ness, is of Latin origin, means great.  It’s a royal name in Norway and Denmark as well as a saint’s name.  It originated in Scandinavia to Scotland.

Will and Viveca are expecting another baby, another boy at the end of December.
